Hello everyone, my name is Sung Sik Kim and I’m known with the nickname ReMinD, a Night Elf player playing for the team World Elite.

When did you join World Elite and how did you get in contact with them?

언제 당신은 World Elite에 입단했고 당신은 그들과 어떻게 접촉했는가?

I don't remember clearly but I think it was April 2005, when showtime was managing this team he suggested me and Soju to join their team because they needed a great 2v2 team.

The last few months have been very successful for you. Winning the Battle.net Season 4, the NGL One Finals with WE and placing third at the WC3L Finals with only three players available. Do you feel satisfied with these amazing results?

Yeah I’m pretty satisfied with these amazing results of course. I’m so thankful to God for helping me.

At the recent NGL One Finals you played the last game vs. Moon, all in all you met him twice in the final clan wars, and you always beat him. How huge was the pressure on you to win these games against the “fifth race”?

I didn't feel that much pressure for it. I like to play against the fifth race because NE mirror is my best match up and so on.

Being unbeaten, your team is placed on top of the rankings in the current WC3L Season. Do you think you can reach the finals again?

무적이된, 너의 팀은 현제 WC3L Season에 순위가 1등에 놓여있다. 다시 결승에 올라갈수 있다고 생각하는가?

Yeah, we almost made sure that we reach the playoffs of the WC3L of course, unless we just throw out the remaining matches.

Do you think you can win the finals this time?

이번에 우승할수있을까?

Since ReiGn had proved his shape back from NGL finals, I think we have a great chance to win this WC3L like we did at NGL.

ReiGn이 NGL 결승에서부터 그의 모습으로 되돌아가고있다는것을 증명한후, 나는 우리가 NGL에서 했던것처럼 이번 wC3L에서 우승할 좋은 기회를 가졌다고 생각한다.



Do you think your chances would increase with having all your players, with the Chinese ones as well, available?

선수들과 중국인선수들이 강해지는것은 기회라고 생각하는가?

Sure. If we got Sky in the WC3l finals as well, it would be really great.

물론, 우리가 WC3L 결승에서 SKy를 가졌다면, 정말 대단했을것이다.

World Elite became a big team with three squads (four with the talents team), do you enjoy this development?

Yes, I enjoy that very much.

Which league do you prefer, WC3L or NGL One?

WC3L나 NGL one중 어떤 리그가 좋은가?

I think I prefer NGL One, because I love this system. One player killing everyone, it's really fun to watch and it's also amazing. And I think the last NGL Season was successful as it was the first one.

나는 이 경기방식을 사랑하기떄문에 NGL-One를 좋아한다. 한선수가 모든이를 죽이는것은 정말 보기에 잼있고 또한 놀랍다. 그리고 나는 지난 NGL Season이 일등이였던것으로 성공적이 였다고 생각한다.

What do you think about your team mates?

당신의 팀 동료에대한 생각은 어떤가?

The European countries face each other in the ENC soon. Which team do you see as the strongest European country?

유럽국가들은 곧 ENC(유럽 국가 컵)에서 서로 얼굴을 부디낀다. 당신은 어던팀이 최고의 유럽 국가라고 생각하는가?

All are strong though. If I have to pick one up then I would pick Russia.

The next Stars War is about to start soon. Are you proud to represent Korea there?

다음 Stars War는 곧 시작하는것에 대해서이다. 당신이 한국을 대표하는것에대해 자랑스러운가?

Yes, I'm pretty proud of being a representative from Korea and also glad that I got invited to Stars War for the first time finally, as I have worked so hard this time.

예, 나는 한국의 대표가된것으로 매우 자랑 스럽고 또한 내가 이번에 그렇게 힘들게 일했던것으로서 마침내 처음 Stars War에 초대된것리 즐겁다.

Some Koreans decided to move to China to improve their skills better and to evade from the Korean army. When do you have to go to the army? And have you ever planned to move to China?

어떤 한국인은 실력을 향상시키고 한국 군대로부터 피하기위해 중국으로 이동하는것을 결심했다. 당신은 언제 군대로 가야만하는가? 그리고 당신은 중국으로 이동할 계획을 갖고있는가?

I think China is becoming a great center of E-sports, including War3, so that's why those Koreans like Fov, Check and Zacard moved to China. Also they can delay themselves from joining the army for some years. I also was planning to move to China but the time didn't come yet.

나는 중국이 War3를 포함해 E-sports의 큰 중심이 될것이라고 생각한다.그런대 그게바로 FoV, Check와 Zacard같은 한국인이 중국으로 이동하는 이유이다. 또한 그들은 어떤해에 군대에 지원하는것을 늦추고 있다. 나는 또한 중국으로 이동할 계획을 하려고하지만 그때는 아직 아니다.



How often do you practice your Warcraft skills?

당신은 어떻게 워크래프트 기술를 연습하는가?

Before I used to spend like 10 hours or more for War3 practice, but these days I practice like 3 hours a day or less.

나는 전에 war3연습하는데 10시간 이상보냈지만 이런날 나는 3시간 이하로 연습한다.

What’s the secret to your success? Do you prepare for your opponents in a special way?

성공의 비결은 무엇인가?  특별한 방법으로 상대방에대해 준비하는가?

I think I’m inadequate at preparation for competitions. I just pray to God before the competition starts and try not to feel any pressure or feel nervous.

나는 시합에대해 준비하는것은 불충분하다. 나는 단지 시합전에 신에게 기도를 하고 어떤 압박이나 부정적인 느낌을 느끼지 안으려고 노력한다.

Can you give a short piece of advice to all aspiring Warcraft gamers?

모든 꿈을 품은 워크래프트 게임어에게 간단한 충고를 해줄수있는가?


Being a gosu player is not that complicated. Keep on practicing with ladder and custom games. Study from a gosu's replay as well as from your lost games.

고수 선수가 되는것은  복잡하게 되지안는것이다. 래더와 커스텀 게임에서 연습하는것을 꾸준히해라.  고수의 리플레이를 공부하는것과 동시에 진경기를 공부해라.



How long do you want to continue your active Warcraft career? Could you imagine becoming an organiser afterwards?

당신은 얼마나 오래 워크래프트 직업을 계속하기를 원하는가? 당신이 그후에 organiser가 되는것을 상상할수있는가?

I guess I will continue playing War3 like two more years and afterwards I won't be an organiser for E-sports for sure.

나는 2년이상 워3를 계속할것이고 그후에 나는 확실히 E-Sports에서 organiser가 되지안을것이다.

Why did you choose the Nightelf race as your first race?

당신은 왜 나이트 엘트를 주종으로 선택했는가?

I love to stick with things I started from the beginning and it was NE, that's all, nothing else.

나는 시작할때부터 나이트 엘프였고 쭈욱 애용했고 특별한것은 없다.



What do you think about the imbalance discussion? Is Nightelf “imba”?

당신은 언밸런스 논쟁에대해 어떻게 생각하는가? 나이트엘프가 "사기"인가?

Yes, you can call it imba, if you feel so, and sometimes I think so when I feel something is unfair. I think there is nothing that can be balanced perfectly in the world.

그렇타. 그렇게 느낀다면, 나엘을 사기라고 부를수있다. 때때로 나는 어떤것은 불공정하다고 느낄때 그렇게 생각한다. 나는 세상에 완벽한 균형이 될수있는것은 없다고 생각한다.

Many Koreans are able to play second races, which one would be or is your second race?

만은 한국인은 세컨 종족으로 경기할수있다.  당신의 세컨 종족은 ?

Probably Orc, because I love to play with this race. It's fun and actually I practice a lot with the Orc race.

아마도 Orc, 나는 이 종족으로 경기하는 것을 매우 좋아한다. 재미있고 나는 실제로 Orc종족으로 많이 연습한다.

Why did you choose ReMinD to be your nickname?

왜 ReMinD라는 닉네임을 선택했는가?

When I needed to create a new nickname I found "ReMinD" as a word from the dictionary and I loved it because it sounded good and had a good meaning.

나는 새 닉네임를 만드는 것이 필요할때, 나는 사전으로부터 단어 "ReMinD"를 발견했고 나는 듣기좋고 좋은 의미를 가졌기때문에 그것을 좋아한다.


What do you do in your free time besides playing Warcraft and practicing your skills?

워크래프트를 하고 스킬을 연습하는것을 제외한 자유시간에 무엇을 하는가?

I study and go to church, watch some movies, etc.

나는 공부하고 교회가고, 영화를 보고 여러가지를 한다.
